She definitely wants everyone to be the best that they can, but her strategy is awful. Many games could've been won with having a coach that has a higher softball IQ than her. She's indirect and mentally exhausts players and not for the better. Also she supports her assistant coach Adrienne harassing players until the cry. Time for UConn to upgrade

She definitely wants everyone to be the best that they can, but her strategy is awful. Many games could've been won with having a coach that has a higher softball IQ than her. Coach Mac is a phenomenal woman. My first two college softball years were rough and at the end of my sophomore year, I considered either transferring or giving up the sport I loved. I stayed knowing there would be a change in the program and could be a hit or miss, and this one was a definite hit. Coach Mac helped make the game fun again. I always tell her, I wish I had her all four years versus just two. She absolutely loves the game and you can see it on and off the field!
