Ian is more on the stricter side of coaching, and people either love or hate him. If you like structure, (sometimes brutal) honesty, and growth, then you will get along with him. If you need a coach who’s more emotional, he’s not the guy for you. He does though care more behind the scenes. He’s there for you if you need him for sure. He’s not perfect but has had a tough couple of years. I expect his future years as a coach to be better.

He is a fair coach and will be honest if you ask for it. However, the team culture got so bad that the team was suspended for two weeks due to “bullying” that was known about that was not stopped. He had lack of communication skills and is unemotional in many ways which confuses players.
