I spent four years having to obey this man. Unfortunately he never earned my respect throughout those years, so faking a smile was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. This man ruined my love for volleyball physically and mentally. He loved to test us and defeat us mentally. Not a role model or someone to look up to.Get out while you still can.

Not a good coach. Not a good guy. If I could single-handedly try to save everyone who considers to have this man be a part of their life, I would. As for parents, this man will not consider your child's well being. Stay away.

Dave Schumaker is a very deceiving coach. He fails to practice what he preaches. He does not set high standards for his team and is not a role model to look up to. His mind is very closed and he is stuck in his ways of following 'philosophy'. He lacks social skills and the ability to be a leader. Don't recommend.
