I am a coach who has had player play for Craig. My experience dealing as a coach to coach is that he is educated, knowledgeable and honest. He uses a standard based style program. When you’re trying to change culture that’s not always easy. That said his results speak for themselves.The player I sent enjoyed her experience playing for Craig.

Coach Roberts is passionate, warm/approachable, supportive, and successful. He was one of the main reasons that attracted our daughter to SIU. He was great with her and us as a family. He was interested in her well-being and not just her potential as an athlete. He creates a positive team culture through team building, and uses praise and positive reinforcement to get the best out of his players.

I didn’t get to work with coach Craig for much time, but the time that he was here was very beneficial. He made college soccer feel less scary coming in as a freshman and it was clear from the start that he knew a lot and was very eager to teach us his ways. He was always positive and proved that he cared about his players from the beginning. I learned a lot from coach Craig in a very short amount of time, so I would strongly recommend coach Craig.
