Whalen is a great guy who means well, and knows how to recruit players. He isn't the best when it comes to confrontation though, which over the course of 4 years there will definitely be some sort of confrontation with another teammate or yourself and a coach. But he is really understanding, especially with academics

Won a lot of games with good players. I would say he's a good recruiter and he's very organized. Knows very little about the mechanics of the game (hitting/pitching/fielding/etc). Struggles when put on the spot; gets very flustered in any sort of tense situation. Poor game manager.
