He is definitely a very motivational person, and makes me want to work harder. I don't mind him being hands-off at times, because that's what our event coaches are there for. I talk to my event coach almost everyday, but Coach V always talks to me before meets to make sure I'm set, and I think that at the end of the day, he keeps tabs on everyone

I love Coach V; though I did not have the best relationship with him while being his athlete, I know that he will always have my back. If I ever reach out to him, I have no doubt he would connect with me if I needed him. I wish he would connect better with his athletes at the time of their tenure, whether they jump, throw, or run.
