What is the best way for a recruit to get on your radar?
Send me a direct email with specific information on their best times and/or distances from track and field as well as their GPA and SAT/ACT scores.
When should an athlete contact you, what is the best way? (age, grade, time of year, email, phone, or other)
Early in their junior year and via email.
What are your expectations for incoming players in the classroom, in the weight room, and on the court?
In the classroom, have a GPA of 3.5 or higher and an SAT score of 1300 or higher. Our athletic requirements are on our website at www.dartmouthsports.com.
What are the do's and don'ts of being recruited?
Don't rely on a recruiting service, do send specific information on your academics and athletics and try to make an unofficial visit to campus.
What is the best advice you can offer a recruit?
Do some research before contacting a coach. Look at their website and see what the current roster is like… are you at that level or not?

What really jumps out to you when reviewing a recruit's highlight tape?
I very rarely look at highlight tapes.
How big a factor is social media when recruiting players? What advice do you have for athletes regarding social media?
I don't use it.
