Women's sports have grown a tremendous amount over the years. As a former NCAA track and field athlete with female training partners, I was able to witness the determination and incredible feats displayed by women first hand. From watching my teammates run times faster than the male athletes, to going to meets and seeing Sydney McLaughlin breaking many collegiate and world records, I have had the privilege of witnessing female athletes achieve inconceivable feats of human performance. With female sports advancing more and more, I think people should know who they should be watching out for in the next generation of female athletes. Without further adieu, let's end NGWSD by acknowledging these three up-and-coming female athletes:
Crystal Dangerfield
A UConn alumna and 2020 WNBA Rookie of The Year, Crystal Dangerfield is a point guard fans should keep their eyes on for years to come. Despite injuries in college, she rallied to become the lowest draft to ever win Rookie of The Year as a WNBA second-round pick. Fans can expect this 23-year old to make noise for years to come.

Teahna Daniels will be a force to reckon with for years to come in the world of sprinting. She was an NCAA 60m Champion at The University of Texas at Austin, the 2019 U.S 100m champion, and a member of the World Championship and Olympic medal-winning U.S 4x100m relay team. Daniels is a serious contender for an individual gold medal in years to come with a blistering personal best of 10.83 in the 100m.

Bethany Balcer
The 2019 National Women's Soccer League Rookie of The Year, Bethany Balcer, is a soon-to-be household name in women's soccer against all odds. Graduating from Spring Arbor University, she became the first NAIA athlete to sign a deal with the NWSL. Being a recent call-up to the national team, we can expect to hear of Balcer's success for years to come.
