If you're a senior college athlete, then congratulations! You've almost reached your goal of getting a college degree. So avoid getting distracted–by this year, you have most likely gotten used to the busy schedule of a college athlete and it probably feels like a walk in the park (okay, maybe not, but it's manageable!).

Since you've got the college athlete lifestyle down, this is the perfect time to start giving some thought to potential careers you would like to pursue after college. And if you have no idea, that is totally fine as well! Not everything has to be figured out, but it never hurts to plan. Here are a few things to put on your radar.
- Analyze some options available for after graduation. Some great options are graduate school, internships, volunteer opportunities, coaching opportunities in your sport, traveling.
- You have probably have worked on this throughout your college career, but make sure you have your resume ready
- Get involved in extracurricular activities and social events in your community to buff up said resume
- Do not neglect your final exams and final projects–you need to pass your classes!
- Keep building connections and relationships with your teammates and coaches; it will go a long way.
- Most importantly: don't forget to soak it all up and enjoy your last year
