The Quinnipiac Bobcats are a Division I school competing in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. The men's and women's hockey teams do not compete in the conference, but play in the ECAC Hockey program, while the women's field hockey team joined the Big East Conference in 2016.
Quinnipiac has seven men's varsity sports and 14 women's varsity sports. They do not have a football team. The team with the most significant following is the men's ice hockey team, under the established coach Rand Pecknold. Without a doubt, Quinnipiac has state of the art athletic facilities. We will be showing you the Frank Perrotti Jr. Arena, where the men and women play ice hockey and the Quinnipiac Baseball Field, where you can see Sleeping Giant State Park in the background. You will also take an inside look at Quinnipiac Rugby Field, where the three-time NIRA National Champion Quinnipiac Women's Rugby Team practiced. You will also get to see all of the other fields and courts that Quinnipiac has to offer. Let's take a look.
