We Are Marshall (2015)

The sad true story is shown in this movie adaptation, telling the chilling story of Marshall University's football team after the fatal plane crash that took the lives of the 75 players on their team. The movie explains the process of grieving the town and school undergo, while new coach arrives to rebuild the program and team. A tragic turned triumphant story uplifts all viewers who have the pleasure to watch the account of these events that took place in 1970.

Bleed For This (2016)

Boxer Vinny Pazienza rises to fame after winning main events and two world titles, but is thrown a curve ball when he ends up in a fatal car accident, leaving him with a broken neck and news that he may never again walk. The Providence local steps up to the occasion as he works his way back to health and does the impossible by learning how to walk and function normally again, returning to the ring just one year after his accident. This drama-filled movie based on the real life of Pazienza, encourages viewers to never give up and push through adversity.

All American (2018)

This television series tells the tale of James, a young football star who gets the opportunity to play for an expensive school in Beverly Hills. Spencer must find his footing and take advantage of his opportunity, which involves disrupting the rich kids and learning how to adapt to a new environment. After making friends and finding a sense of belonging, Spencer is able to thrive in both football and in his social life. Cheer (2020)

A popular Netflix series, shows the lives of small town Texas cheerleaders as they navigate the sport that contains both competitiveness as well as drama.
