If it's January 2nd and you're already putting off making your new year's resolutions, you might struggle with procrastination. It's okay, putting things off can be tempting when you want to carve out time for yourself or simply lack structure. However, in the long run, procrastination can be a problem.

Procrastination can be the hardest obstacle to overcome if you're a college athlete. Being proactive and prepared can break or make your career and if you continue to push everything off to the last minute, you will not be successful. Procrastination can also induce stress, which in turn could cause a variety of negative outcomes. Avoiding procrastination will help you avoid stress which will make your life a whole lot easier.
So don't wait! If you struggle here, be sure to add “tackle procrastination” to your resolutions list.
