Growing up we're always told practice makes perfect…but does it? Practice makes us better, but not perfect. Having an expectation of perfection is unrealistic and not healthy. The truth is no one's perfect and that's what makes us human. If everyone was perfect then no one would make mistakes and no one would be able to improve themselves.

As athletes, we're going to mess up. Whether it's in a big game or inconsequential practice, it's going to happen sooner or later.
