Daily Grind: Skidmore Women’s Soccer Player Katheryn Dunn Daily Grind: Skidmore Women’s Soccer Player Katheryn Dunn

Dunn is a junior on the Skidmore women's team. This year, Katheryn recorded 8 goals (5 of them being game-winners), was awarded the Liberty League's Conference Player of the Year, and received an award for USC Scholar All-American. Katheryn, who is a Psychology major and a double-minor in Management and Business and Spanish, is also extremely involved on campus! She works in the Psychology Department as a lab assistant, in the Wellness Center as a peer-health educator, and she is a tour guide! Here is what a busy day in her life looks like: 

8:00 am: Wake Up

Wake up and start to get ready for the day!

9:00 am: Eat Breakfast

Everyday Katheryn has two eggs on an English muffin and a sausage on the side and an iced coffee.

9:40-11:00: Class

Katheryn's first class of the day is Financial Accounting for her Management and Business Minor.

11:00-12:00: Lab

Katheryn works for the Language and Social Development Lab for Skidmore's Psychology Department.

12:00-12:30: Lunch 

Katheryn eats lunch with her friends who are in her next class of the day!

12:40-2:00: Class

Her second and final class of the day is Business Spanish, which counts for both her Business and Spanish Minor.

2:00: Walk home

Katheryn lives off campus, but close enough to be able to walk to and from class. She always listens to Morgan Wallen on her walk home to reset herself from her long day of class and work.

2:30-3:00: Career Development Meeting 

These meetings are becoming more frequent, as she is trying to prepare for finding summer internships!

3:00-5:00: Work 

Katheryn works for Skidmore's sports center at the front desk.

5:00-6:00: Run home 

Finished with work, Katheryn hurries home to get changed and ready for lift.

6:00-7:00: Lift with the team! 

In the off-, the soccer team lifts twice a week with their strength and conditioning coach.

7:00: Eat dinner 

After lift, Katheryn will eat dinner with her roommates and recap the day.

8:00-11:30: Shower and do homework 

This is more time she spends with her roommates. They all motivate each other to make sure they aren't procrastinating their work!

11:30: Go to bed!
