Being an in-season soccer player, master’s student and working on NIL deals, Belmont athlete Keely Cartrett has found the balance between being a college athlete and influencer. Mastering her time management skills has allowed her to be successful in all aspects of her life–but it’s still a grind! This is what one of her busy days while being an in season athlete looks like:

5:20 AM:  Wake up and  get ready for practice

On her busiest days of the week Keely wakes up early for practice and to get ready for her day. Her day never starts without a cup of coffee so she allots extra time in her morning to ensure her day starts off on the right foot.

6:00 AM – 8:00 AM: Practice

She starts off her day with the athlete portion of her life, getting ready for the week of games ahead.

8:00 AM – 3:30 PM: Homework, Internship, Influencer Tasks

The middle of Keely’s day is devoted to whatever she needs to get done. She works on her brand deals and creates the necessary content for them, gets her internship responsibilities done and does any studying/homework necessary for class this upcoming week.

5:30 PM – 8:00 PM: Class

Master’s classes tend to be in the evening so following weights, Keely will attend one of her classes for the night.

8:30-10:30 PM Unwind and bedtime

Keely will spend the few hours before bed unwinding from the day, taking a shower, eating dinner and spending time watching TV before going to bed to get ready for the next day.
