The daily grind of a college athlete can be tough, but it's good for recruits to know what they're signing up for in the recruiting process. Here's a day in the life of former Maryland baseball player Sean Burke:
6:00-7:00 A.M. – This is when I would wake up and go immediately into the gym to get a workout in.
7:30 A.M. – After my workout, I would get some breakfast to kickstart the day.

8:00-9:00 A.M. – After waking up early to go to the gym, I would use this hour before class to take a nap to prepare my body for the rest of the day.
9:00-12:00 P.M. – During these hours, I would take my classes for the day.
12:30 P.M. – After class I always had lunch to get some more fuel before practices.

1:00-5:30 P.M. Time for practice!
5:30-6:00 P.M. – During this 30 minute period I would spend recovering with ice baths, stretching, etc, from having a long practice.

6:30 P.M. – I would eat dinner around this time every day.
7:00-8:00 P.M. – This hour I spent in the study hall getting more work done or preparing for upcoming exams.
8:00 P.M. – From 8:00 on, I would usually spend my time hanging out at home or hanging out with friends until I go to bed.
