The Howard basketball team is halfway through their basketball season, and the cloud that is hanging over the coaches head cannot be a comfortable feeling. Former players claim that coach Nickelberry emotionally and verbally abused them. He demanded they practice at times that were not allowed under the NCAA regulations. He also did not follow up on the promises that he made to the players concerning their scholarships. 2aDays Founder & CEO sat down with Brandon Bailey a former Howard basketball player who was mentally abused by Nickelberry to discuss what he went through under the thumb of this coach. Brandon is telling his story so high school recruits will not have to go through the same thing as he did.  Brandon states that “it is important that athletes tell their parents when they feel that coaches are abusing them.”
