Lower Senior Alexis Hall serves as team captain for the CUNY Queens College Knights' Women's Cross Country team and helps the college's Student Athletic Advisory Committee. In practice, she hopes to improve long distance skills. In meets, she loves running the 5K and other long distance events. To Alexis, running long-distance feels like flying. Currently, her best 5k time is nineteen minutes and fifty seconds.

Rap music motivates Alexis. It allows her to wake up early in the morning. It helps her progress through long practices in poor weather conditions. Her favorite artists include Bad Bunny, Kehlani, and SZA. The fast tempo and rap beats energize Alexis for best performances. She says “What you play sets the tone for the day.”
Alexis motivates herself via running goals. In the next year and a half, she seeks a 5K time decrease. She desires less mid-distance events in meets. One day, she hopes to run marathons of varying distances. She specifically strives to run the New York City marathon.
