Corey Kiner is not new to success on the football field. His impressive performance as a high school athlete earned him the prestigious Ohio Mr. Football Award in 2020–the same award Bengal's starting quarterback Joe Burrow earned back in 2014– and nabbed himself a spot on LSU's football team.
Kiner was one of two 2021 LSU freshman running backs to earn praise, as he and teammate Armoni Goodwin are said to have been called “Thunder and Lightning” by their teammates on the LSU squad.

Kiner is known for his incredible speed and ability to gain difficult yardage on short plays as well. He reached a season-high of rushing yards in a game against Central Michigan, totaling 74 yards.
He also averaged just under 30 yards per game in his freshman season.
