Reese Dorsey is a senior goalkeeper for the Women's Soccer team at Ohio University. She accepted an NIL deal with a local business in Athens, called Shop Athens Ohio. This deal allows for interested consumers to purchase shirts, crewnecks, and other types of apparel with the players last name and number on them. Reese was excited for this deal and took the chance to benefit from her name, image, and likeness.

Highlighting Reese's soccer career is a game against Buffalo where she had five saves and pushed until double overtime. When asked about what she would tell girls hoping to pursue competitive soccer, she told 2aDays “I would definitely tell them how much of a grind it is. They need to make sure that it's what they want and prepare for it because it is a lot of work. Balancing school and soccer is honestly like a full time job. There is limited free time, so just letting them know what they're getting into and hoping they have the drive for it. I would also make sure to tell them not to pick a university based on the soccer team, to make sure that they also like the school and could picture themselves at it without soccer.”
