is a defensive back at the , where he is majoring in psychology. He also contributes on the field through special teams and rotates amongst USD's secondary. During his time at USD, Hong has earned multiple academic honor roll honors and plans to enroll in law school after graduation.

Although Hong shines on the field and in the classroom, he is also a standout In the San Diego community. Hong has also partnered with the Autism Tree Foundation, a nonprofit organization that builds community awareness for autism, where he mentors children with autism. is also passionate about Asian representation in and has been involved in initiatives to push for diversity.
