Paige Rydberg has had a wildly successful colligate figure skating career. After graduating high school in 2018, Rydberg decided to pursue her professional and skating career at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, a so-called “hotspot” for olympic figure skaters.
The communications major won the 2021 U.S. Collegiate Figure Skating Championships in the senior ladies division. The championship is a prestigious competition that brings in more than 70 athletes from around the country to compete for glory, and college scholarships to aid their academic pursuits.
Rydberg competed in the largest group in the competition and won, earning the gold with 175.25 points.

Since her scholarship-earning performance, she's continued to excel, placing sixth in the 2021 Cranberry Cup, fifth in the 2021 U.S. International Classic, and fifth twice in the 2022 U.S. Championship Series, which took place in Spokane, Wash. and Allen, Texas this year.
