In the fall of 2019, Decoldest Crawford went viral when his name was displayed across the television screen during an interview at Green Oaks High School. He became an instant internet sensation as the video in which he talked about his aspirations for his football team garnered thousands, if not millions of views.
However, Crawford did not just come into the public eye because of his name. Crawford was a three-star recruit coming out of high school who helped boost his team to three playoff appearances where he posted over 2,200 yards with almost 150 targets to boot. Crawford was originally committed to LSU but de-committed and re-opened his commitment where he eventually chose Nebraska to be his new home.

Although Crawford got injured in fall camp and has yet to dress, he has still taken full advantage of his NIL opportunities. Crawford recently starred in a 32-second commercial promoting SOS Heating & Cooling Company, an HVAC company focused on air conditioning and radio sponsor for Nebraska football…a fitting partnership for a Nebraska football player whose first name is Decoldest. The good fit shows–Crawford's video has garnered more than 5.2 million views and his contract is exclusive. Thanks to NIL Crawford has been able to be financially successful despite his injury and leverage his unique name.
