Having a tennis video that highlights your game is extremely beneficial when getting recruited. It helps coaches see your game when they cannot in person. Using a highlight video also gives you the opportunity to stand out to coaches. Here are a few tips to know when filming your tennis highlight video:
Start with an introduction about yourself:
Briefly introduce yourself: your name, graduation year, some impressive stats, and why you want to play for them.

Have good angles:
Angles are everything. Two different angles of the same shot could tell a completely different story. Make sure to pick the angles that put you in the best light.
Include point play:
Showing yourself in competition shows how you react to real-life scenarios. Coaches love to see not only your form on shot clips, but how you compete.
Make it short and sweet:
Coaches will decide in the first 30 seconds whether they want to watch the rest of the video, and they don't have time to watch videos over 5 minutes. So, keep your video short and fill it with impressive clips that make you stand out early.
