Student-athletes often find themselves in situations where they need to study on the go, whether they are on a team bus, flying out-of-state for a game, or enjoying a rare weekend home. Here are 4 helpful tips to make more successful.

  1. Make a to-do list on your phone

Use your phone's Reminders and Notes apps to make a checklist of tasks you need to complete while travelling.

  1. Quizlet

Quizlet allows students to practice their memorization skills on mobile and laptop devices and makes on the go super easy. Making the quizlet yourself is an especially valuable study skill because it helps you digest the material better.

  1. Form study groups and group chats

Making study groups and group chats with your teammates can make the study process more efficient because you already have similar schedules, so planning study groups will be easier. It is also a good idea to study with groups so you can get everyone's different perspectives.

  1. Communication is Key

Communication with your professors is fundamental in staying up to date with deadlines or missed content from not being in class.

Bonus Tip: Get as much work done ahead of time as you can so you don't have to worry about it while travelling!
